Level 1 Fighter
Alec remembers little about his home, save for the big oak tree in the center of town. He remembers his mother humming, and still hums the same tune to pass the time. One day, he ventured too far from the village and was captured by a band of slave traders. The next thing he remembers is the figure of Lord Voldolf towering over him, and the searing pain of receiving the slave tattoo on his shoulder. He was placed under the tutelage of a very seasoned gladiator named Daylen Falck who trained him mercilessly to become a fighter in the Sachsport Arena, the place where the town’s criminals were sent to fight for their lives as penance for their crimes. Alec became a successful and popular combatant in the arena, eventually receiving the stage name Alec the Merciless. After 15 years of fighting and making a name for himself, he was allowed to earn his freedom by fighting one last time. As he entered the arena, his heart fell as he saw that his opponent was to be Daylen, his mentor and the closest thing to a father he ever knew. After defeating his long-time teacher and friend, he was bestowed a gold leaf representing his freedom. He wears the leaf on his shoulder to show that he is no longer bound to his duties as a slave, keeping both the nobles and the slavers at bay. During his first week as a free man, he decided to explore the outskirts of the city, where he happened upon a tall, beautiful woman with unusual features, including a set of pointed ears, who was defending herself against two large bears. As he watched, she deftly defended herself against the animals, and quickly slew them. Afterwards he tried to approach her, but upon seeing him she bolted. Alec followed her, but ended up wandering the woods for days until he finally found his way back to a village.
